Craft brewing is taking Maryland by storm and there’s no better place to try some craft beer than on a Maryland Main Street.  Maryland’s newest brewery, Realerevival is located in Cambridge Main Street.  Realerevial’s brewed on site beer include Bucktown Brown, Nanticoke Nectar and Big Liz Harvest Ale. All of which have names that came from local lore and locales. Thursday through Monday they offer pub fare for happy hour and dinner.

Head down Route 50 to beautiful Berlin and stop in at Burley Oak Brewery for a beer and a weekend brewery tour.  This production facility has a tasting room with ten beers on tap, a cask conditioned ale and a house made root beer. They host a variety events and/or music and are near many of Berlin Main Street’s shops and restaurants.

If you live west of the Bay Bridge you can visit Brewer’s Alley on Frederick’s Main Street.  Brewing since 1996, Brewers Alley is one of the East Coasts first brew pubs, they feature 13 taps and a full menu of pub favorites, pizzas and American fare.

Other brew pubs in Main Streets include Johansson’s Dining House in Westminster and Ram’s Head Tavern in Annapolis.
